Dale A. Doucette, age 79, of Antigo, died on February 5, 2026 at his home under the care of his family and Saint Croix Hospice. He was born on August 5, 1946 in Antigo, a son of the late Glen and Mae (Now) Doucette. He married Michelle "Shelley" Schroepfer on June 24, 1995.

He was a graduate of Antigo High School 1964. He served in the United States Army from January 18, 1966 to December 29, 1967 as a helicopter mechanic stationed in Germany.

Dale was employed as a heavy equipment truck driver at Krueger and Stienfest, United Erecting of Wisconsin, and most recent Duffek Sand and Gravel where he retired in 2008.

In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, softball, and shooting pool. In his later years he enjoyed camping, playing cards, cutting firewood and mowing the lawn. Dale could always find something to do in the shop.

Survivors include his wife, Shelley; a daughter, Sarah Doucette; sisters, Judy (Bob) Warren, Faye Fleischman, and Jane Hoerman; a brother, Douglas (Carolyn) Doucette; sister-in-law, Emily Doucette; mother-in-law, Peggy (Ron) Wierzba all of Antigo; sisters-in-law, Christy Fay of DeForest, and Janice Teal of Antigo; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Vicki) Schroepfer of Bonduel, Carl (Jana) Schroepfer of Antigo and Tony (special friend Jessica) Schroepfer of Antigo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Gerald (Betty), Maurice (Shirley), Merle, Loren (Peg), and Patrick; sisters, Marlene (Bill) Shebuski, Beverly (Jim) Edgerton, and Vergie (Bob) Gerloch; brothers-in-law, Don Fleischman and Jerry Hoerman; and father-in-law, Melvin Schroepfer.

A special thank you to Saint Croix Hospice for the care given to Dale and his family.

Honoring Dale's request, no traditional services will be held.
