Audrey P. Ulesich

Audrey P. Ulesich, of Antigo, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at Garden View Assisted Living.

Audrey was born on October 7, 1926, in Antigo, Wisconsin, to the late Harry Now and Susan (MacKay) Now Bostwick. She married William Ulesich on November 29, 1958, in Milwaukee. Together, Audrey and William built a life they deeply enjoyed-raising their daughter, traveling, caring for their many beloved pets, and spending countless hours gardening. William preceded her in death in October 1991.

Early in her working life, Audrey held a position at the Antigo Glove Factory before moving to Milwaukee. In 1961, Audrey and William welcomed their only child, a daughter, Tamyra, and Audrey devoted herself to staying home and caring for her family. In 1978, they returned to Audrey's home area of Antigo, where they enjoyed their retirement years together.

Audrey was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took great pride in her family.

She is survived by her two granddaughters, Kimberly (Mark Young) Jahnke of Antigo and Alisha (Brandon) Resch of Antigo; two grandsons, Joel Jahnke of Redmond, Washington and Kenny Steinfest of Marshfield; six great grandchildren, Ainsley Stronstad, Jack Stronstad, William Young, Adaleigh Resch, Aniela Resch, and Alainey Resch; son in law, Tommie Hitz of Antigo; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Audrey was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamyra Hitz; brothers, Eugene Now and William Now; and a sister, Gwendolyn Reimer.

Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Antigo.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to GardenView Assisted Living, LeRoyer Hospice and Palliative Care, and especially Angela Filbrant Sheldon, for the compassionate care shown to Audrey over the past few years.
