Peter Gagliardi

Peter Joseph Gagliardi, age 65, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at his daughter's home in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
Born on November 11, 1960, in Brooklyn, New York, to Paul Gagliardi and Josephine Reina, Peter was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
Peter was married to Mary Jane Hendrickson for 35 years, sharing a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they raised four children: daughter Gabriella Marie and sons Peter Charles (Shannon), Anthony Paul (Janet), and David Ryan. He was also a proud grandfather to Emma Carinci, Ryan Gagliardi, Lillian Gagliardi, and Cassandra Gagliardi, and took immense joy in watching them grow.
Peter is survived by his sister, Angela Deckelmann (Bill), as well as his nephew Billy Deckelmann (Miranda), nieces Danielle (Mike) and Charissa Deckelmann, and four great-nieces and nephews, all of whom were dear to his heart.
Peter worked as a Regional Project Manager for Control Products Inc. in East Hanover, NJ who manufacture small componentants.
Known for his kind spirit and his passion for life, Peter loved fishing and spent countless hours tinkering and fixing things around the house. He was a dedicated member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Blairstown, New Jersey, where he not only worshipped but also actively participated in the Men's Bible Study group and served on the church council in various positions including Elder.
A memorial service to celebrate Peter's life will be held on Saturday, January 10th, at 12:00 PM, with visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 168 NJ Route 94, Blairstown, New Jersey.
Peter will be remembered for his love of family, his unwavering faith, and his generosity of spirit. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, The American Diabetes Association, or the American Cancer Society.
