Lorraine Lambert Obituary
Lorraine devoted much of her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family. As a homemaker, she cherished the time spent with her husband, Bob, whom she was married to for 44 years. Her unconditional love and support of Bob and the infinite wisdom she provided him will be cherished forever.
An avid reader and always curious, Lorraine was a passionate traveler. She enjoyed exploring the world and had a special fondness for visiting archaeological ruins and picturesque landscapes. Two of her favorite places were Ireland and Sardinia. Her travels were a source of joy, awe, and inspiration, and she loved sharing stories from her journeys.
Lorraine had a deep affection for animals, especially dogs, and her home was always filled with love for her furry companions. She was an avid gardener, taking great pleasure in tending to her vegetable gardens.
One of her latest interests was "fairy gardens". These gardens provided her with an outlet to express her whimsical side. She also found joy in expressing herself through her personal style. Lorraine's unique, eclectic fashion style always made people smile.
Lorraine is survived by her devoted husband, Bob, and their son, Douglas. She is also survived by her many in-laws, and their extended families.
She will be remembered for her kind heart, her adventurous spirit, and her unwavering love for her family, friends, and animals.
A memorial service will be held later in the year near Lorraine's July birthday. Arrangements are entrusted to Newbaker Funeral Home, Blairstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lorraine's memory to the ASPCA, a local animal shelter, or Dysautonomia International, P.O. Box 596, East Moriches, NY 11940.
