Peter J. Hance

Hance, Peter J., 51, of Bethpage, passed away August 18, 2022. Loving father of Frankie. Beloved husband of Sara. Cherished son of Barbara and the late Peter. Dear brother of Donna Volpe (Joseph), Laura Jean Campisi (Al) and the late Michael. Cherished Uncle Pete to Krysten, Vinny, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Hailey, A.J., Peyton and Grayson. Peter's presence was best described as tazmanian devil, he had a strong willed, all or nothing, ruff personality but his heart was big. He was a huge Met's and Jet's fan and made many memories with his son going to Met's games and fishing. In Peter's free time he enjoyed hunting, cooking, hanging out in the pool, hosing the backyard, and driving in his corvette. Peter liked concocting his own recipes which he always thought were delicious, but his family thought he should stick to BBQing. He enjoyed having the family over for BBQ pig roasts and hanging out with them in the pool. Peter loved to take his wife and son to his favorite vacationing spot, Key West, Florida. The family will receive visitors Thursday, August 25th, 5-8 pm at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage. Funeral Mass Friday, August 26th, 10:00 am at St. Martin of Tours RC Church. Cremation Private.
