Peter Hartner Obituary

Born on May 19, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Gerald and Danielle Hartner. On October 10, 1969, he married Carol Hartner at St. Francis Cabrini Church in Allen Park.
He was employed with DTE as an Cable Splice Leader aka "Diamond Cutter" for 36 years, until retiring on October 6, 2001.
He loved his job, Motown music, old people bus trips, a good meal with a good beer, and the Tigers and Red Wings.
Peter was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Crista Deckard, Michelle Langly and Brian Hartner, granddaughters, Alicia Hartner and Chelsea Affholter, great grandson, Arthur, and his sisters, Mary, Margaret and Marsha.
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Flat Rock Chapel on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Deacon David Drysdale will officiate the service. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown.
