In Loving Memory of Peter M. Hess,
Peter M. Hess, 79, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Asheville, NC, on Saturday, December 13th, 2025.
Peter was born on September 24th, 1946, to Marie Marie (née Mann) Jefferies & Harold Hess. After graduating from Whitefish Bay High School in 1964, he served in the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged in 1972. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin in 1973.
After graduating from college, Peter worked in Sales before co-founding Trinity Services Group, a national foodservice contractor for the corrections industry, working for 23 years, serving as COO. He had a passion for helping others, which manifested itself throughout his career and homelife.
Through life’s ups and downs, Peter demonstrated an indomitable spirit, turning challenges into opportunities for growth. Friends, family, and colleagues admired his strong, compassionate, intelligent, and intuitive soul.
Peter loved reading, traveling, music, photography, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and Badgers football. When he wasn’t taking a stroll around lovely downtown Asheville, he would spend time writing, watching movies, and keeping up with the news.
Anyone who knew Peter knew that he was the most loving father a family could ask for. He is survived by daughter Chloe Hess of New York, NY. Preceding him to the other side are his parents, Marie (née Mann) Jefferies & Harold Hess, and two older brothers, Harold “Bud” Hess and Michael Hess.
