Peter A Jozsa

Peter Andrew Jozsa, 65, of Calhoun Falls, SC, husband of Wilma ‘Willie’ Littrell, died Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Self Regional Healthcare. He was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Imre and Meta Pea Hofer Jozsa.

Peter graduated in 1982 from Los Angeles Trade Technical College and built a fulfilling career, retiring from York Metal and Air Conditioning. Perhaps most notable was the love he held for his family. To Peter, his wife was not merely a partner; she was his soul mate, the anchor of his life and the joy in every shared experience. His warm spirit and great sense of humor brought happiness to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Peter is survived by his wife of 13 years, Willie, of the home; his children, Ryan Emory Jozsa (Brenda) of Denver, CO, Sarah Linsey Gilberts (Andrew) of Saugus, CA, Rebecca ‘Becca’ Jozsa Cahal (Mac) of Canyon County, CA, Elliott James Van Dyke of Statesboro, GA and Amanda Van Dyke of Ludowici, GA; brother, Tibor Jozsa or San Diego, CA; sister, Monica Hill of Glendale CA; nine grandchildren, Bella, Gabriella, Hudson, Walker, Sierra, Matthew, Alex, Samantha and Nevaeh; godson, Joshua Brightman; close relative, Melinda Cooper; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Peter’s Life will be 2:00PM, Monday, March 17, 2025, at Greenwood Baptist Church, 211 Birchtree Drive, Greenwood, SC 29649 with Pastor Matt Davis officiating.
