Shirley Fleming Obituary
A graduate of Calhoun Falls High School, Class of 1959, Shirley retired from Rocky River Mills with 50 years of dedicated service. Her heart was centered around her family. She found joy in sharing moments with her loved ones, whether it was during family gatherings or simple day-to-day experiences. In addition to her family, Shirley had a deep affection for animals, demonstrating her compassionate spirit and gentleness. She was a member of Calhoun Falls Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Jackson Bentley.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 25 years, John David, of the home; son, John Eric Smith; step-daughter, Krista (Ken) Sammons; granddaughter, April Nicole (John) Bowen and great-grandson, Rivers Bowen.
The family will receive friends 3:00PM - 5:00PM, Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home, Calhoun Falls Chapel, 526 E. Savannah Street, Calhoun Falls, SC. Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Monday, January 5, 2026, in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Kevin Garrison officiating.
The family is at the home in Calhoun Falls.
