Peter George Leider

February 8, 1950- August 4, 2025.

Peter died peacefully in his home. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Patricia (Zieserl) Leider, Loving father of Nicholas (Nora Staffan Leider), Katherine (Dan Tille) and Stephen (Jennifer Leider). He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Maggi, Bridget, Maddy, Josie, Ian and Cassey. He also had a great many of lifelong friends and extended family.

Peter was born in Milwaukee WI to his parents Mabel and George Leider and attended Marquette University High School as well as Marquette University.

He had a long career in accounting and financial management, beginning at Arthur Anderson and including Bonness Construction, Thompson-Clark-Gerritsen Co, Inc. and Wirtz Beverage. He was at the forefront of personal computer technology and opened Electronic Study Hall in 1983 to help facilitate computer and internet access for the local university students. He was passionate about woodworking, cooking and gardening.

Peter was a devoted Catholic and was a longtime parishioner at St John Vianney.

Visitation for Peter will be in state on Wednesday August 13th starting at 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC PARISH 1755 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield, WI. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery with a graveside service at 1:15 PM.

Those wishing to honor Peter's memory may send gifts to either Marquette University High School, Milwaukee Rescue Mission or the Glioblastoma Research Organization.
