Peter Macary

I can still remember pushing open the screen door of the Morris Country Store and being greeted by Pete´s warm smile and twinkling eyes. He had a nickname for everyone wether he knew them or not and treated everyone as a friend he hadn´t yet met. I was so lucky to work with him; counting mealworms and night crawlers, fishing out minnows, grilling breakfast sandwiches and scratching (I mean selling) lottery tickets. I was too young to realize how few special souls there are in this world like Pete. I loved being a part of the MCS family. My heart goes out to Chris, Danny, Chelsea and Amber. This week I will watch Rudy in his honor and fondly remember the `summer of Pete´.
