Peter Madvad Jr., Warren, OH, died on July 5, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley-Howland. He was born in Warren on February 2, 1932, the son of Peter and Mary (Paulinak) Madvad Sr. Before retirement, Peter worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Packard Electric from 1950 till 1991. He was a member of Central Christian Church, where he had served as a deacon. He was a January 1950 graduate of Warren G. Harding, was a class officer and was active in the class reunions. He was an officer in the Western Reserve Quarterback Club and supported Warren High School sports. He was also a member of the Warren Olympic Club for many years. Surviving are his son, Thomas Madvad of Lorain, OH; daughter, Nancy (Kerry) Edwards of Sterling Heights, MI; 4 Grandchildren: Karly Madvad, Madeline Madvad, Maxwell Edwards, and Christopher Edwards, and sister, Patricia (Robert) Nadzan of Macomb, MI. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Braunberns) Madvad, whom he married September 24, 1955 and who died December 29, 1999. The family will greet friends Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 5-7 pm at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the Central Christian Church. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Oakwood Cemetery. Material contributions may be made to the Central Christian Church Memorial Fund, 2051 E.
