Peter A. Mattonelli, 74, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at Complete Care at Hamilton.

Born in Trenton and raised in Hamilton, Peter was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a proud graduate of St. Anthony's High School and went on to earn his degree from Trenton State College. Peter worked in sales for many years, where his personable nature and dedication earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike.

Throughout his life, Peter enjoyed a variety of hobbies and pastimes. He had a lifelong love for music and was especially fond of playing the accordion. Bowling was another favorite activity, offering both fun and friendly competition. One of his most cherished traditions was attending Fraternity Reunions, where he loved reconnecting with his fraternity brothers and reminiscing about old times.

Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Doris (Sabatucci) Mattonelli; he is survived by his four siblings, Joseph Mattonelli, Daniel (Mary Ann) Mattonelli, David Mattonelli, and Donna (Bob) Johnson; nieces and nephews, Mark (Gabriella) Mattonelli, Jeffrey (Michelle) Mattonelli, Danielle Johnson and Michael Johnson; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Buklad-Merlino Yardville Memorial Home, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville, NJ.

A prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Peter's name to Joey's Little Angels, 223 Sharps Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610 or VIA VENMO at JLA Angiolino
