Peter McLaughlin Obituary

Peter was born in January of 1967 in Peoria to Dennis and Kathryn McLaughlin.
Surviving are his siblings, Michael (Lisa) McLaughlin, Mary Ellen (Alan) DeBord, Katie (Wade) White, Patrick McLaughlin and Martin McLaughlin; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dennis McLaughlin, II; and his niece, Mary Elizabeth DeBord.
Peter graduated from Chillicothe High School and attended both Illinois Wesleyan University and Northern Illinois University. He worked in sales for various companies over the years.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11am at St. Edward Catholic Church in Chillicothe, with visitation held one hour prior to Mass. Burial of ashes will follow at St. Joseph Mooney Cemetery in Rome. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
