Peter Miraflor, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on October 23, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, quiet strength, perseverance, and inspiration.
Peter was the devoted husband of Chezca Miraflor and the proud father of two children, Laine (21) and Achilles (10). He was their guiding light, encouraging them to dream boldly, live with integrity, and face life with courage. For his family, Peter was an anchor of calm and reassurance; his love for them shaped everything he did.
A man of many talents and passions, Peter's entrepreneurial spirit flourished through his real-estate investments and construction company, where he found joy in transforming houses and creating opportunities for others. Beyond business, he was known for his boundless creativity and sense of wonder. A gifted magician, Peter delighted friends and family alike with his astonishing sleight-of-hand and masterful illusions, moments of joy that reflected his playful spirit and his belief in life's quiet magic.
He also found fulfillment in movement and discipline from the rhythm of a table-tennis match to the focused grace of calisthenics and the peaceful simplicity of camping beneath the stars. His warmth, generosity, and quiet wisdom touched everyone who knew him.
Peter is survived by his loving wife, Chezca; his children, Laine and Achilles; his siblings Joseph Miraflor, Milagros Moniz (and her husband Joshua Moniz), and Mary Ann Miraflor; his sister-in-law Nova Miraflor; his uncle Ringo Valasote and aunt Elvie Valasote; his cherished nieces and nephews Nico, Chloe, and Jude (sons of Joseph), Ivan and Ethan (sons of Mary Ann), and Jayden Moniz (son of Milagros and Joshua); and his cousins Thor and Eva Valasote (children of Ringo & Elvy), Anjuli, Maria, and Rico (Children of Auntie Lida). He will also be deeply missed by extended family and many dear friends who will forever hold his memory close.
Peter's life was a testament to perseverance, love, and quiet leadership. Whether mentoring others in business, sharing laughter over a friendly game, or performing a bit of magic that reminded everyone of life's wonder, he brought light to every moment. His legacy endures in the hearts of those he inspired.
A celebration of Peter's life will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center (1151 Mitchell Avenue, Port Orchard, WA 98366). Luncheon and Fellowship will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by a rosary and service at 1pm. Urn Placement to follow at Sunset Lane Cemetery at 300pm.
Though Peter is no longer with us in body, his spirit remains ever-present - guiding, inspiring, and reminding us to live with purpose, curiosity, and heart.
