Peter V. Pinette, RPh, 80, died December 27, 2025 at a Caribou hospital following a period of declining health. He was born in Newport Rhode Island March 28, 1945 the son of the late Ralph and Judith Ann (Bishop) Pinette. Mr. Pinette was a graduate of Caribou High School as well as The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy with a degree in Pharmacology. He married Charlene McCarthy and was a longtime member of the Parish of The Precious Blood. Peter began his pharmacy career at his family’s pharmacy, Doctors Pharmacy in Caribou. He was also a pharmacist at Walgreens, Rite Aid and Laverdieres in Caribou for many years. Surviving in addition to his wife Charlene of Woodland are his children: Vaughn Pinette and wife Leah of Metheun, MA., Joseph Pinette and wife Jennifer of Limestone, Matthew Pinette of Bangor and Lance Pinette of Woodland. Three brothers, Michael Pinette and wife Linda of Vermont, Paul Pinette of California, and Mark Pinette and wife Jan of Caribou. Three sisters, Suzanne Cassidy Loberg and husband Jim of Texas, Catherine Allen of New York and Jane Pinette of Vermont. Three grandchildren, Tommy, Anna Leah and Lili. Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pinette was predeceased by his parents and a sister Judith. Friends may visit with the family Monday January 5, 2026 from 10:00 am to 10:45am at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Monday from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
