Peter Joseph Preziosi Jr. of
Vineland, NJ, and formerly of Patterson, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at his home in Vineland under hospice care. He was 91 years old. Born on March 12, 1934, to Peter Sr and Teresa Preziosi. He grew up in Patterson and later moved to Vineland when he turned 19. He met his wife, Mary (Regenelli), and they were married in 1954 and celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in November 2024. Together, they had five children: Peter III (Terry), Darlene Haines, Teresa (Vicki), and Paul (Vicky). His five grandchildren, Stephanie Flores (Ricky), Lindsay Sanchez (Angel), Matthew Preziosi (Eleni), Anthony Preziosi (Rachel), and Alexa Preziosi (Dylan). His five great-grandchildren, Maniah and AJ Sanchez, Cameron Flores, Drew Preziosi, and James Preziosi, whom he cherished with his whole heart. He was predeceased by his son, James Preziosi; parents Peter and Teresa Preziosi; son-in-law Doug Haines; brother Richard Preziosi (Betty); brothers-in-law Michael, Gerry and Joseph Regenelli, Donald Miller, Nicholas Giordano and Arthur Giovinazzi and his sisters-in-law, Angelina Giordano, Victoria Giovinazzi, Catherine Regenelli, Gloria Regenelli and Lucy Miller. Peter worked as a foreman for Model Blouse and a supervisor at Two Guys department store in Vineland, where at Christmas, he would dress as Santa to celebrate the holiday. Pete was also a very talented tailor and floral designer. He created many of his children's outfits for special occasions such as Easter and Christmas. He also made wedding dresses, prom dresses, and dresses for many of his family and friends. As a talented florist, Pete managed Family Florist and Al's floral shop for many years, and after that, managed Mom's Shop before retiring. He enjoyed creating spectacular arrangements for weddings, funerals, and special occasions. Many people from outside of New Jersey would call him to create special bouquets for their family members. Although he enjoyed working and creating his floral arrangement, his biggest love was spending time with his family and friends. At family events or special occasions, he would be the first in line at the dessert table. He would light up at Christmas and birthday celebrations, knowing that he was going to spend time with his family. He will be deeply missed by his family. The family would like to thank NJ Health Hospice for their compassion and care for Pete. A church visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th from 9am to 11:15am followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 am from Our Lady Of The Blessed Sacrament - Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola.
