My daughter is in Kiev now visiting her friends, and she sent me this heart-breaking picture of the square in Kiev where little flags are installed for each life lost during this war. That is how I saw an American flag , and googled the name trying to find out. I live in NJ, close to Bordentown. My deepest condolences. He was a hero, and he will be remembered.

I saw his story on the news at some point and was so heartbroken to hear of his death. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He was a true hero and I will never forget his sacrifice.

I did not know Peter but read about him this morning. Clearly he was a true American hero. I am so sorry for your lose. The world needs more Peter Reeds.

I don't know you but was humbled by the interview I heard yesterday. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Pete certainly embodied what loving and caring means. His example of bravery and putting yourself out there for others is awe inspiring. Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
