Peter Ryan

Peter J. Ryan, born on May 13, 1939, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at the age of 86.

Peter was the beloved husband of Donna, a devoted father to Tara and Tim (Bonnie), and a proud grandfather of Patrick, who brought him endless joy.

A pillar of his community, Peter dedicated 65 years of service to the Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Over the decades, he served with distinction as Chief, President, and Chairman, demonstrating extraordinary commitment, leadership, and compassion. His lifetime of service touched countless lives and reflected his unwavering dedication to helping others in times of need.

Peter was also a Distinguished Past President of the Levittown Kiwanis Club and a recipient of the prestigious Diamond Level Kaiser Award, honoring his exceptional leadership and service. He was a former member of the Levittown Chamber of Commerce and proudly volunteered for the New York State Games for the Physically Challenged, further exemplifying his generous spirit and commitment to his community.

Peter's life was defined by service, integrity, and love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, leadership, and devotion that will long be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
