Peter Stackpole

Peter Stackpole, 74, of Beverly passed away at home unexpectedly on September 28, 2022. Husband of Sheila (Dodd) Stackpole and son of the Late Frank and Virginia (Taylor) Stackpole, Peter was born and raised in Beverly. He attended Beverly Highschool and Graduated in 1966. He studied at Salem State and Nathaniel Hawthorne College eventually earning a Masters degree.
Peter worked for the Beverly School system for over 50 years. He began his career at the Hardy school in the 1970's as a third-grade teacher. He then taught sixth-grade at Briscoe Middle School for many years. Most recently he was a paraprofessional for Beverly Middle School in the special needs program.
Peter loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed reading, shopping, travelling, and decorating for holidays.
Peter is survived by his wife Sheila (Dodd) Stackpole as well as: his children; Kate Boden and husband Bryan of Beverly and Amanda Stackpole of Beverly; his grandchildren Hunter, Cody and Luke Boden; his brother Robert G. Stackpole and wife Mary of Sanford, ME; a very special niece Renee Dodd, and a great niece Mariah Dodd.
Peters Visiting hour's will be held in the Campbell Funeral Home 525 Cabot Street Beverly on Sunday October 2, 2022 from 1 to 4pm. His funeral service will be held in North Beverly Cemetery 653 Cabot Street Beverly at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
