Peter J. Talarico, a devoted husband, brother, uncle, and friend who deeply loved his family, entered eternal life on September 18, 2025, at the age of 73. A longtime resident of Syracuse, New York, he passed away peacefully at Crouse Hospital.

Born on November 20, 1951, to Angela Generotti Talarico and Ferdinand Joseph Talarico in Jessup, Pennsylvania, Peter grew up with a deep love for his family. After graduating from Henninger High School, he spent many years working in the fashion and cosmetology industry, where his creativity and kindness left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

In 1984, Peter married the love of his life, Suzanne Marie Vieau, and together they shared over four decades of cherished memories. As a couple, they enjoyed traveling, hosting family gatherings, and spending time with their many nieces and nephews, who adored them both.

Though Peter had no children of his own, he was a pillar of support and a source of guidance for his extended family. His quick wit, love of storytelling, and wealth of knowledge from his passion for reading made him someone people naturally gravitated to. Peter will be remembered for his generous spirit, sharp humor, and the way he made everyone feel valued and cared for.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angela and Ferdinand Talarico; his brothers, Joseph and Ferdinand, and his sister, Joan. Peter is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; his sisters, Lucille and Raffaella; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

A prayer service celebrating his life will take place at Carter Funeral Home Inc.,1604 Grant Blvd. at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
