Peter J. Tirc, 66, of Schenectady, NY, formerly of Kingston, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1958 in Kingston, NY, son of the late Paul E. Tirc and Ann (Zlock) Tirc.

He was a graduate of Coleman High School and later Paul Smith's College. For many years he worked as a professional land surveyor in Ulster County. Early in his life he was an avid hiker, backpacker, and expert outdoor enthusiast. More recently he enjoyed woodworking, playing golf, playing guitar and writing songs, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He gave his kids unconditional love, support and guidance. For the last five years he was a proud, loving Grandpa. He will be most remembered for how much he loved his family. He always remembered every birthday and anniversary. He was the glue that kept his family together.

Peter is survived by his son, Peter G. and his wife Jenny, his daughter Amanda Rose, his granddaughter, Leona, his former wife Jane, his brother Philip, his brother in law Thomas Loughlin, his sister in law Beth Tirc, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family members. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his siblings, Mary Anne (Tirc) Loughlin, Paulette "Letty" (Tirc) Bukovac and Paul J. Tirc.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Saturday March 1, 2025 from 1pm to 4pm.
