Deepest Sympathies,
To Elizabeth and the Vangel Family. Pete will be missed. I always thought of him as a great man, a good friend, an excellent teammate and I admired him for the great example he set. When I played volleyball with him, at the YMCA, I always picked him first, along with John Zoltek. I hope he's resting peacefully with friends and family that have past.
Best Regards
Joe Collamati

Peter was the Superintendant of Schools here in Bellingham when I was elected in 1986. He was a man whose complete goal was to make sure the kids in our community received the best education we could possibly give them. I admired and respected him enormously . My deepest sympathies to his family.

Pete was my coach when I played second base on the Bocce Club team in the Babe Ruth League in 1957. Men like Pete who contributed their time to the youth of Woonsocket are truly city treasures. Rest In Peace Pete.
