Peter Charles Warren

Peter Warren, 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2025 in St. Joseph. Peter was born September 26, 1946 in Bethany, MO, son of Ellen and Wilbur Warren II. He graduated from Easton High School, class of 1964, and later from Missouri Western State College. He married Diane Lambright on April 22, 2000 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church. Peter was a proud United States Marine. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served as a Marine Sniper in the US Marine Corps First Sniper Division. Following his service, he worked as a Pilot with TransWorld Express. Pete loved flying, hunting, boating, riding his motorcycle, deep sea fishing and scuba diving. He was also a proud member of NRA. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Wilbur Warren, III. Survivors include: siblings, Ina and her late husband Wayne Wilson of St. Joseph, John (Jean Ann) Warren of Rea, MO, Patricia (Terry) Castor of St. Joseph, Harold (Paula) Warren of St. Joseph, Mary (David) Jones of St. Joseph, Marti (Kevin) Chapman of St. Joseph, former wife, Diane Warren, 4 grandchildren, Jillian, Sophie, Olivia, and Willy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 10, 2025 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Celebrant, Father Stephen Hansen. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church, where the Rosary will be at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow services at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Easton, Mo. Memorials are requested to the Honor Flight Network, Missouri Right to Life or Mosaic Hospice.
