Peter W. Zetes Sr.

Peter W. Zetes Sr, 85, passed away on March 4, 2026 in his home. He was the husband of the late Mary "Brenda" (DesRosiers) Zetes.

Born in Lynn on May 15, 1940 he was the son of the late Peter and Katherine (Caswell) Zetes. Peter served our country with the National Guard. He had a successful career as a first-class engineer for both General Electric and the MBTA. Peter also worked at the Soldiers Home for several years.
Peter was a devoted catholic and was a faithful communicant. He was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Lynn. He enjoyed trips up North and loved the camp and fish.

He is survived by his children, Peter Zetes and his wife Joleen of Lynn, Theresa Nelson of Florida and Lisa Zetes of Georgetown, his grandchildren, Timothy Zetes and his wife Taylor of Seabrook, Samantha Zetes and her fiancé Danny Cooksey of Peabody and Marisa Nelson of Tewksbury, his great grandson Logan and expected great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas Zetes, siblings Robert Zetes and Helene Ahern, and grandson Francis Nelson.
