Peyton Grimm, 87, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025
He was born in Rome, GA and he grew up in Thunderbolt, GA. Peyton lived many years on Burnsed Island. He was a 1956 graduate of Savannah High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. Peyton retired from Sears Roebuck after many years of service and was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
Peyton is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Brazelton Grimm, father, Paul Hutchens Grimm, sister, Mary Jo Herring, and wife, Nell Grimm.
He is survived by: his brother, Frank Grimm (Kathy); brother-in-law, John Herring; nephews, Jay Herring (Tarra) and Robbie Herring (Carol); cousin, Ellen Krift (Fred).
The family would like to thank Hearth Hospice, Chaplain Roger, Leslie, Liz, Barbara, Amanda, and the CNA’s for their compassionate care they gave Peyton. Services are private.
