Peyton Gabrielle Lowder, a bright and cherished member of her family and community, passed away on February 18, 2026, at the young age of 31. Born on April 8, 1994, Peyton touched the lives of many with her kindness, strength, and undeniable spirit.
A proud graduate of Piedmont High School, she completed her education in 2012. Peyton was a loving mother to her three beautiful children—Ava, aged 12, Allie, 22 months, and little Oakley, only 3 months old. Her devotion to her children was profound, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Peyton always said that her children were her greatest accomplishment.
Peyton is survived by her devoted parents, Jerry and Vicky Lowder, who provided her with love, support and guidance. She leaves behind her sister, Morgan Maynard (Nick), as well as her brother, Colby Lowder. Peyton also shared a close bond with Cole Bryant. She is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Kaye Odom, and a multitude of aunts and cousins, all of whom will remember her fondly. She will also be lovingly remembered by her beloved second family, Travis and Lauren Edwards and their family, who graciously welcomed Peyton into their home and hearts.
In addition to her loving family, Peyton is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bert Odom, and her paternal grandparents, Jessie and Janice Lowder. Their memories will live on in the hearts of those who survive her.
A memorial service celebrating Peyton’s life will be announced at a later date.
Peyton's legacy is one of love, resilience, and the importance of family. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children, family, and friends, who will carry her spirit with them always.
