Phelda's spiritual life was important to her, and she enjoyed many retreats and prayer groups, and she also was a member of the prayer hotline.
She married her husband of 71 years, Clarence "Noir" Blier, who passed in 2024. Together they had five sons, and she leaves behind Allen Blier and his wife Arlene of Fort Kent, Michael Blier of Grapevine, TX, and Gary Blier and his wife Sandy of Blaine, WA.

Besides her husband and parents, Phelda was predeceased by two sons, Bruce Blier in 1969 and Joel Blier in 1998, four brothers, Elmer, Leonard, Eldon, and Roger Plourde, and four sisters, Velma Caron, Gloria Caron, Linda Ouellette, and Tina Thibodeau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent.
