Wayne Allen Wasson, 65, died unexpectedly December 30, 2025 at his Caribou residence. He was born in Fort Fairfield February 28, 1960, the son of John and Jeanette (Theriault) Sanders Sr. Mr. Wasson was a graduate of Limestone High School, served with the US Army and he married Lisha Labreck July 27, 1990. Wayne was employed as an accounting technician at The Defense Finance Accounting Service at Loring. Surviving in addition to his wife of Caribou are his father of New Mexico, children; Bobby Begin of Washburn, Amanda Begin and significant other Henry Jolly of Caribou and Jessica Wasson and fiancé Jeremy O’Clair of Ashland. One brother Johnny Sanders of Hobbs New Mexico, Four sisters, Donna Pinkston of Pipe Creek, TX., Terry Sanders of Big Spring, TX., Renee Atkinson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Tina Sanders of Portales, N.M. His beloved grandchildren; D.J. Honeycutt, Trevor Honeycutt, Landon Sutherland, Lily Keiling, Karter O’Clair and Gabe Murray. Many nieces and nephews. Mr. Wasson was predeceased by his mother. A private family service will be held at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
