CAVILL, Philip Edward. November 9, 2023. Age 75. Beloved husband of Millie (nee Sanders) Cavill. Loving father of Sonya Payne and Jennifer (Matt) Snyder. Adored papa of Haley Payne, Tyler Payne, Emma Payne, Griffin Snyder, Gannon Snyder, Siena Snyder and Sawyer Snyder. Dear brother of Kathleen Murphy. Predeceased by his parents Edward Cavill and Anna Hasten. Phil's family is heartbroken to share this sad news of his sudden passing. After 40 years committed to Phil Cavill's Tire and Auto in Clawson, he retired six years ago. Phil was passionate about his favorite activities including boating, golfing, and cheering for the Lions. He enjoyed his corvette, vacationing in Florida, and a cold beer with a cigar. Phil cherished his long-time group of best friends and their great memories. Most of all, Phil loved his wife of 54 years with all his heart. Phil's two daughters and all seven grandchildren know his pride for each of them was immense and anyone who spent time with Phil knew it as well. Forever missed, never forgotten. Visitation will be Monday from 3-9pm and Tuesday from 10am until the time of the 11am Funeral Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile).
