Phil Jonas Obituary
Philip Todd Jonas, age 61, of Harrison, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2026. Born on April 5, 1964, in Cincinnati, OH. Phil was the son of Margaret "Peggy" Jonas and the late Cornelius Jonas.
Phil was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend who always took pride in providing for his family and supporting his friends. He was married to Brenda Jonas, and together they built a life rooted in love, loyalty, and commitment. Phil and Brenda would have celebrated 42 years of marriage on January 28th.
Phil is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (nee Martini) Jonas; his mother, Margaret "Peggy" (nee Biddle) Jonas; father-in-law Leo Martini; his four sons: Todd (Emily) Jonas, Brad (Colby) Jonas, Brandon (Jessica) Jonas, and Drew (Zach) Jonas; eight grandchildren: Emmett, Vivian, Bennett, Shepard, Vera, Lucy, Mabel and Robert Jonas; his sister, Mary Ann (Jerry) Heimkreiter; his brothers Matt (Leah) Jonas, Mark (Danielle) Jonas, and Danny (India) Jonas; his sisters-in-law Tammi Martini, Lynda Martini, and Rhonda (Eric) Sizemore and 32 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father Cornelius Jonas, mother-in-law Donna Martini, brothers-in-law Donnie Martini and Jeff Martini.
Phil was an electrician and project manager at Cooper Electric. Whether on the job or helping someone he cared about, Phil was always willing to lend a hand. He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and the deep love he had for his family.
Visitation will take place on TUESDAY, JANUARY 27th from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Brater - Winter Funeral Home in Harrison, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held WEDNESDAY, January 28th 10:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 10010 Carolina Trace, Harrison, with burial services to follow at St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery in Yorkville, IN.
Memorials in Phil's honor may be made thru the funeral home to Honor Flight Tri-State or online directly to www.honorflighttristate.org/donate.
Phil's memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the family and friends he loved so deeply.

I'm so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. He just was at Salvagnini last week or so to stop and say hello to me. We were just talking about getting older and retirement. Please accept my condolences for his family. Linda Light, HR Mgr. Salvagnini America.
