I first got to know Philip when he was dating a relative of mine, but I went to school with him far earlier than that. He was the kind of person that a place like this doesn't know what to do with: an outlier. He lived to spread joy, as much as he could at any given moment. He could break any rule in a way that would make everyone smile. I miss him and wish I could've done more to change how things went. I'll remember the good times and carry his memory forward.

The night I met Philip, I was walking around Amo Fish Fry with a close friend. I remember he was always smiling and laughing. That night a friend of his and my friend, and I all snuck into the bouncy house after hours and jumped forever. After that, Philip and I had grown to be very close friends. A small world, being that as a kid I'd always go with my mom to his family's restaurant, "The Red Dog." He'd come visit me all the time, and we'd meet up at all sorts of festivals. He was the most loyal friend I'd ever had, and would always tease him that his laugh was contagious. He had a good spirit, and although we had only know each other for a few years, our friendship grew to be a friendship that everyone wishes they had. I miss him dearly, and I send my regards and prayers to his family everyday. I know most definitely he is one of God's favorite angels.

Always a good kid. I talked to him every day on the bus to and from school for a long time and knew Robin pretty well. So heart broken to hear this happened. God Bless his family and his soul. I'll pray for him and you all <3 My Condolences and may he rest in peace, waiting for your arrival one day.

I remember Philip as the little brother with freckles at his sister's softball games. His sister and my daughter Megan played softball together.
God Bless the Alkire family at this most difficult time. And may Philip rest in peace.

Philip was my best friend, and getting to know him, well that was the best thing I could have ever experienced. He was kind, compassionate, and had a fire unlike anyone I have ever met before. He had goals and ambition, he was a force to be reckoned with. He was destined for great things, and he will always hold a place in my heart. With love and full of memories
I'll be thinking about you, forever and always your best friend
