Philip Casolo Obituary

Casolo, Philip M. WATERFORD Philip M. Casolo, 76 of Van Schoonhoven Square, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Collar City Nursing Home. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Philip and Anna Mae Gambelli Casolo. He was educated in Waterford schools and was a lifelong Waterford resident. Phil had been employed at the former Leonard Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital and then at Samaritan Hospital and had received a plaque from St. Peter's Health Partners recognizing 50 years of service. He was a horse racing enthusiast and enjoyed movies of all kinds and watching fireworks. But he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his sister, JoAnn Kozloski and nephew, Benjamin Kozloski both of Clifton Park as well as several cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Phil's family at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt.32), Waterford on Tuesday, May 17, from 4 - 7 p.m. A graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL, 33131.
