Philip Michael Fabich, 76, of Shenango Twp. passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at UPMC - Jameson Hospital. Although in ill health, death was unexpected.

Born July 31, 1949, he was the son of the late Philip James and Pelagia Woloszyn Fabich.

Philip graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City in 1967. A proud Army veteran, he served his country until being honorably discharged. He retired after a long career with the Laborers Union. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish in New Castle and of the VFW in Ellwood City. He cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 36 years, Melinda Capp Fabich; two daughters, Megan (Jerry) Zupan of New York and Kaitlin (Aaron) Jackson of Kentucky; two sons, Andrew (Jessica) Fabich of New Castle and Brian (Holly) Fabich of New Castle; eight grandchildren; sister, Patricia (Fran) Manfredi of New Castle; and two brothers, James (Sindey) Fabich and Thomas (Cindy) Fabich both of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Steven Fabich.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday February 10, 2026, from 4 to 6 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum. A blessing service will be held at 11 am at the funeral home on Wednesday February 11, 2026. Military Rites will be offered by the Veteran's Honor Guard. Interment will follow in St. Vitus Cemetery.
