Philip Grieser Obituary
Philip was born on August 6, 1962 in Chadron, Nebraska, to Larry and Phyllis Grieser, and moved with his family to California at the age of two. From an early age, Philip was curious, hardworking, and full of laughter. On April 30, 1988, Philip married the love of his life, Marilyn, at Truth Tabernacle in Fresno, California. He later made Glendive his home, where he built lasting friendships and served others with kindness and faith.
Philip was an avid gardener who took pride in growing zucchini, squash, and an impressive array of peppers - jalapeños, habaneros, and cayenne among them. He even began a small worm farm to enrich his soil. A talented cook, he was known for his barbacoa tacos and his famously fiery "9-1-1 sauce." When he wasn't in the garden or kitchen, he loved to fish and share that joy with his children and grandchildren.
Above all, Philip loved the Word of God. He could speak for hours about Scripture, always eager to learn and teach. He led worship services, sang with a sincere heart, and spent long hours in prayer. To those who knew him, he was a true prayer warrior and a man of conviction. He often said that the greatest revelation one could receive was that "there is only One God," and that the most important question anyone could ask was, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" - because, he said, "the answer to that question, in Acts 2:37-38, is the gate."
Philip is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Grieser; sons Philip Grieser and Joshua Grieser (Chelsea), daughter Cambria Dowson (Dylan); and grandchildren Cole, Thomas, Caleb, and Christopher and beloved niece April Duran. He will be deeply missed by his family, church, and all who were blessed to know him.

Philip will be remembered for his dedication to God and his family.
