Philip Null Obituary

Philip Ruff Null, 56, of Blairsville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at Independence Health System Latrobe. He was born Oct. 14, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Philip Ruff and Barbara Ruth Mates Null. Philip was a 1986 graduate of Ligonier Valley High School and had worked as an equipment operator in the steel industry. He was happiest being at his home, working around his house, and hunting and fishing in the nearby river. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Null. He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis R. Knupp of Ligonier and Susan Hixson (Gary) of Ruffsdale; his girlfriend, Rita Sidari; and several nieces and nephews. At his request, all services were to be private. Memorial donations may be made to Action for Animals, P.O. Box 814, Latrobe, PA 15650.
