Philip Pankonin Obituary
August 5, 1958 - July 18, 2021
Philip "Phil" L. Pankonin passed away July 18, 2021 in Omaha, NE. He was born August 5, 1958. Phil passed peacefully on Sunday, July 18th and is survived by his wife, Cathi; children: Christopher (Cortnee), Andrew, and Katelyn; his sister, Roxanne (Alan) Nissen; brother, David (Lori); and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Suzanne Pankonin.
Phil was the former President of Home State Bank, Louisville, NE, former board member of Midlands Community Foundation, Louisville Care Center, AKSARBEN Scholarship Foundation, and American Red Cross.
VISITATION: Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 3-8pm at the Louisville Senior Center, with family greeting friends from 6-8pm. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Friday, July 23rd, at 10am at the First United Methodist Church, Louisville, NE. A private family internment will be held following the service. The family suggests memorials be sent to the Louisville Area Foundation or the First United Methodist Church, Louisville, NE.

I was so sorry to hear about Phil´s passing. I know that while he was the President at the Home State Bank that he would go out of his way to help all that came in plus he always had time to talk to anyone. He always tried so hard to make sure that my sister, Cathi, and their kids happy by taking them on trips or just going somewhere to relax. He always helped me when I needed it and I will always have great, fun, and extremely HAPPY holiday memories and more.
We will miss you so very much and we hope and pray that you have made the ascent to the heavens to join all that have gone before you.
We really Loved you Phil and you will be missed.
