Philip J. Piwowarski, 63, of Bourbon, IN, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in his home.
Philip was born to Aloysius (Al) and Kathleen (Lang) Piwowarski on November 17, 1961 in Oak Lawn, IL. He graduated from Richards High School in Oak Lawn, IL. He married Jo McCollough on March 24, 2019 and she survives. He served in the National Guard and worked in retail sales. He attended Inwood United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Philip will be dearly missed by his wife, Jo; his sons: Philip Piwowarski of Peru, IN; Thomas Piwowarski of Peru, IN; his daughters: Alexa Piwowarski of Peru, IN; Cynthia Piwowarski of Peru, IN; his sister, Janet (Gregory) DeWitt of Kildeer, IL; and his brother, Anthony (Evelyn) Piwowarski of McCormick, S.C.
Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Aloysius (Al) and Kathleen Piwowarski, and his sister, Cynthia McHugh.
A visitation will be held for Philip on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home (115 S. Main St., Bourbon, IN).
A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Becky Baker officiating.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (Bourbon, IN).
Memorial donations may be made to: Inwood United Methodist Church (525 S Shumaker Dr., Bremen IN 46506) or to: National Kidney Foundation (Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016) in Philip's honor.
