Philip Ritchie Obituary
Philip taught art at Smithfield High School in RI for 25 years. In 1980, he opened The Peaceable Kingdom with his wife Joan and continued to work there until his last year of life.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan Ritchie, his two daughters, Siobhan Ritchie Cute and Shara Ritchie Plynton, and four grandchildren, Marema Joan Lo Plynton, Zoe Anna Cute, Niya Pearl Plynton and Qwin Frances Cute.
In lieu of services, a celebration of life will be held at The Peaceable Kingdom in the spring of 2026.
