Philip Shibles

TROY- Philip Shibles, 89, of Troy passed away on June 1st, 2024. Phil was born August 26th, 1934, a son of Burchard and Helen Shibles.
Philip was a very motivated worker and enjoyed a variety of activities in his spare time. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and 4-wheeling. One of his favorite hobbies was vehicles. He owned and operated a garage right in his hometown of Troy, he also sold used cars for 50 years, where he enjoyed meeting new people and getting to know all the residents of his hometown. Philip is predeceased by his parents, a sister, Marilyn (Shibles) Kitchen, and a brother Kenneth Shibles.
Philip is survived by his siblings, a sister Mura (Shibles) Knights, his brothers Richard and Brian Shibles, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two special friends Melissa Nealley and Darrell Dawson, who meant the world to him, and of course, his loyal feline friend, Buddy. Phil's family and friends would also like to thank Inland Hospital ICU staff for everything they've done. There will be no services at this time.
