Philip and I served together in Viet Nam in 1966 to 1967 and became great friends, We went up to his parents home after coming home from VN in Metz Mi had a great time. and met brother George(a real character) and Nancy and his parents. He was my best man when I married 1969 in Clawson Mi. I would occasionally drive up to his home in Davison MI. I was shocked when I got the news of his passing and didn't get this message until the 20th and will miss him dearly! May God be with you my friend!

Jan and family, sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Butch and your family. Butch, teaching me how to play euchre, neighbor hood texas holdem tournaments, playing penny poker, he was fine card player. I'll always remember when Butch, Josh my brother Andy, at the time my girl friend Sue (now my wife) were golfing, when the ground keeper came up on us and asked " are you Ramiro, the air force recruiter called your mom, your shipping out tomorrow morning " two weeks early. Butch assured me, this is a good thing, He was right. Again, we're so sorry for your loss. We definitely lost one of the good guys!
Rest in peace Butch.

Dear Jan and family, I am so sorry, and so shocked by Butch's passing. I have known you both for so many decades, and had so much fun with you both in the Antique world, and elsewhere. Everyone loved and enjoyed Butch and his great sense of humor, and intelligent conversations. This is a huge loss to all your family, and friends as well. You have my deepest sympathy, and condolences. He will be missed by so many, and I will miss him greatly. Hugs and Love to you and yours.
