Phillip Matthew Collins “Matt” went on to his eternal home on June 19th 2025 at age 53. To know Matt was to love Matt. A man with the biggest heart who loved his family and friends so deeply. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters and anything to do with the outdoors.
Matt is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Collins. Maternal grandparents Ova and Angela Boggs, paternal grandparents Harold and Dottie Collins. Beloved sister in law, Tammy Collins. Uncles “Buck” and “Papaw Jim” James Ramey, Dean Collins and Walter Boggs. Aunt Bobbie Silvia and cousin James “Little Jim” Ramey.
Survived by his father Donald Collins. His children and pride and joy Amanda Collins and Tyler (Lauren) Collins. Seven beautiful granddaughters, Karleigha, Neela, Karissa, Liliana, Brenleigh, Tinley and Addilyn. Siblings Tony(Brandi) Collins, Darrell Collins, Amy(Clete) Greenwood, Bo(Amanda) Collins, and Ashley Collins. Nieces Tamara Robinson, Tara Collins, Tosha Collins, Bailey and Bonnie Greenwood, Shelby Collins and Brooke(Nate) Howes. Nephews Travis(Courtney)Collins, Clete Greenwood Jr, Devery Collins (Brooklynn), and Joshua Thomas Jr. He also had 12 great nephews and one great niece on the way. Special Aunts Francis Standifer, Jody Honeycutt, Debra Silvia and Connie Combs. As well as his near and dear friend of a lifetime, Donnie Gibson. Matt is going to be sorely missed by all who knew him.
