Phillip Eng Obituary
Phillip Eng was born in Rockville Centre on July 15, 1941. Phillip graduated from Oceanside High School and earned a B.A. in History from the University of Nebraska in 1964, and a Masters in Education from NYU in 1990. Phillip served as a teacher, assistant principal and principal in the New York City public school system for 31 years.
Phillip loved to play golf and was an avid stock market investor. But his true passion was his family. A devoted husband, and a dedicated father/grandfather, Phillip was always there to teach, nurture and guide his family. Phillip was a patient listener who could empathize with people and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed.
Friends and family may visit Thomas A. Glynn & Son Funeral Home at 20 Lincoln Avenue, Rockville Centre, NY 11570 on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
