Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dryer Funeral Home, Inc. - Holly on Feb. 16, 2026.
Phillip W. Huntley, age 81, of Holly, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on August 24, 1944, in Detroit, he was the son of John and Lydia Huntley.

On October 3, 1964, Phillip married the love of his life, Patricia Pomeroy. Together they shared a lifetime of devotion, laughter, and building a beautiful life and countless cherished memories over more than six decades of marriage.

Phillip dedicated 30 years of service to General Motors, retiring in 1993. He was a hardworking and dependable man who took pride in providing for his family.

A man of many interests and passions, Phillip found great joy in golfing, hunting, and fishing. He especially loved horticulture, tending to plants, and spending time outdoors. He and Pat shared many happy years camping, forming lasting friendships everywhere they traveled. Larger than life, Phillip was fiercely loyal, deeply loving, and a wonderful man whose presence filled every room. His greatest pride and joy was his family, and he loved his children wholeheartedly.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Pat; his son, David (Kim) Huntley of Denton, Texas; his daughter, Cheryl (Lyle) Caunt of White Lake; his four grandchildren, Tyler, Megan, Evan, and Corinne; and many bonus grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron (Pat) Huntley, Tom (Denise) Huntley, Jim (Karen) Huntley, and Mary Fitzwater; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Phillip was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Huntley, Jr., and his brothers, Bob Huntley and Rick Huntley.

A celebration of Phillip's life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Hart Community Center, 495 Broadway, Davisburg, Michigan 48350.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
