Phillip Mitchell Judkins was born on May 31, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK. He lived his life to the fullest in the Midwest City/Spencer/Choctaw area and retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 34 years of dedicated employment.

He made it his own personal mission to spread smiles and laughter to everyone he encountered. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and could often be found enjoying some cold Coors Lights at the lake or hanging out with Jo Etta at the slot machines in the casino!

He was always bragging about how proud he was of his children and grandchildren and was a constant at family gatherings and celebrations. He always had a big personality that would light up any room and was greatly loved by those who had the joy of knowing him.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Alzada Judkins, and his daughter Ashley Judkins.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jo Etta Judkins; brothers Paul Matthew and Patrick Mark Judkins; brother from another mother, Larry Leese; children Brandon and Dawn Hooks, Linsey Gooshaw, Leianna and Robert LaMar, and David Gooshaw; grandchildren Caylee Judkins, Brittenai and Aaron Thelin, Bryar Hooks, Arlee and Adler Gooshaw, Brandon, Kaylee, and Jensen LaMar, and Braxton Gibson; great granddaughter Ella Thelin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Barnes Friederich and Pope Funeral Home, 1820 S Douglas Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73130. A visitation for Phillip will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 8:00am – 8:00pm. The Funeral will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 10:00am. Until we meet again Phillip, you will be deeply and truly missed.
