Phillip W. Lee completed his earthly journey and met his Savior face to face on the blessed evening of December 25, 2025. Born on July 25, 1940, in the close-knit community of
Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. His final moments were spent in the loving care of Angel's Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, where he peacefully passed away due to a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Phil's life story is one of devotion-devotion to his community, his church, his country, and his family. As a young man, he answered the call to serve in the Army reserves, a testament to his love for his country. Phil's commitment to service continued in his role as an elder of Elmbrook Church, where he was not just a dedicated church leader but a source of hope and guidance for all who knew him. His faith was the cornerstone of his existence, and he lived every day as a faithful man of God.
Professionally, Phil was an award-winning salesman whose charismatic presence and genuine interest in his clients' needs set him apart. His colleagues admired him, and his clients trusted him, for he was not just a salesman but a friend. He looked for opportunities to do good for people and truly got to know them. Phil sought ways to forge connections and offer a fresh perspective. His care and concern brought hope to many from all walks of life. Phil was a man of many virtues-wise, faith-filled, and friendly.
Phil's personal life was rich with the love of his family. He was a cherished husband of 58 years to Mary Ann Lee and a loving father to daughters Jennifer and Stephanie. His parents, Thelma (Olson) Lee and Elmer Lee, and his brother, Robert E. Lee, who died before him, instilled in him the value of integrity that he carried throughout his life.
An athlete to the core, Phil's enthusiasm for sports was contagious. Whether he was playing baseball and basketball well into his 70s or cheering for his beloved Wisconsin sports, he was the kind of man you wanted on your team. Phil's interests were as diverse as his talents; he found joy in frequenting coffee shops, collecting antiques and art, and managing properties. His wisdom and counsel were sought by many, and he generously shared his insights with those around him. His sense of humor, countless stories, and playful antics kept his spirit young.
As we celebrate Phil's life, we remember a man who stood firm in his beliefs and who led by example. He has left a lasting impression on the hearts of those who were blessed to know him, and his memory will continue to inspire us to live with purpose and passion. The gates of heaven have opened for a faithful servant, and while we will miss him dearly, we take solace in knowing that Phil is at peace in the eternal embrace of his Lord and Savior with all of his friends and family who went before him.
