Phillip Leonard Priestley, 79, of Lebanon, Oregon, passed away on August 25, 2025.

He was born December 18, 1945, in Grants Pass, Oregon, to Roland and Jeanne (Burdick) Priestley. Phillip grew up in Grants Pass with his siblings Paul, Diana, Jewel, and Gail, and graduated from Grants Pass High School.

For the past 25 years, Phillip made his home in Lebanon. He retired from Entek Manufacturing, where he worked as a boiler operator specialist. On March 18, 2010, he married, Elda Galasanay, in Lebanon.

Phillip was a dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous for more than 30 years, proudly receiving his 30-year coin. He touched many lives through his service, sponsoring countless individuals and even starting an online AA meeting in the Philippines.

He was known for his love of family, friends, and simple joys, especially a good game of cribbage or watching Jeopardy!

Phillip was preceded in death by his father, Roland; his mother, Jeanne; his brother, Paul; his sisters, Diana and Jewel; and his son, Steve.

He is survived by his wife, Elda; his children, Phillip Priestley Jr., Jennifer Hartung, Sheila Coolidge, Ezra Castillo, Joel Castillo, and Joel Janubas; his grandchildren, Samantha Garin, Stephanie Priestley, Tiffany Milam, Vincent Odle, Emily Hartung, Rachel Hartung, Ezzella Castillo, Justin Castillo, and Zion Castillo; and his sister, Gail.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 145 W. Ash St., Lebanon, OR.
