Phillip E. Reaume, Sr., age 86, of New Castle, DE passed away on Sunday August 3rd.

Born in Delaware City, Phillip was the son of the late Elsa and Clifford Reaume Sr. Phillip and Valerie married on September 9th, 1960. He went on to work for Motor Wheel Corporation, Edge Craft, Toy R Us, Dodds Dental and DuPont. He has honorable discharges from the Delaware National Guard in 1959 and the Army of the United States in 1964. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He would go for daily mile or more walks along the water front in Delaware City, Battery Park in New Castle, Riverview Park in Pennsville and around the neighborhood. In his free time he built model airplanes, played solitaire on the computer, watched NASCAR, baseball and football. He was a avid Seattle Seahawks fan.

Phillip is survived by his sons, Phillip E. Reaume, Jr., Clifford Reaume (Heather) and Keith Reaume (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Kristin Reaume, Rachel Ritter (Daniel), Jesse Shepherd (Patrick), Kyle Reaume (Taylor), Caitlin Reaume, Calvin Reaume, Phillip E. Reaume, III (Jazmine) and Margaret Reaume; and his great granddaughter Amelia Wadsley. Phillip was predeceased by his wife, Valerie; his daughter-in-law, Robin; and 6 older siblings.

Funeral services will be held privately.
