Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phillip Burchelle Reynolds Jr., of Elkton, MD, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on September 17, 1932, in Chesapeake City, MD, he was the son of the late Phillip Burchelle Reynolds, Sr. and Ethel May (Lockard) Reynolds.
Phillip proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Italy and during the Korean Conflict. He retired after many years of service as a Project Manager for Union Local.
He found joy in the great outdoors, often spending his time boating, fishing, hunting, and indulging in his passion for decoy carving. He was also known for his generous spirit, volunteering as a firefighter in Belhaven, NC, where he made countless friends and memories.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Louanna Reynolds, his granddaughters, Holly and Vicki, stepgrandson, Ryan Turnball, stepchildren, William Campbell and Rebecca Campbell, and daughter-in-law, Patti Reynolds. His family was everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to his parents, Phillip was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Ann Reynolds and his son, Phillip B. "Butch" Reynolds III.
A graveside service will be held in his honor at Bay View Cemetery, 370 Old Bay View Road, North East, MD on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited to come together, share stories, and celebrate the incredible life of Phillip Reynolds, who will be dearly missed but forever remembered in our hearts.
