I lived next door to Corkey and Joey for about 10 plus years and as a wee lass of about five or six they would let me tag along with them and they would share their miniature cars (which they had a box full) and we would spend hours building roads and running the cars thru the construction we produced. In the 40's gender toys were not shared so it was exciting for me to be able to have two friends who would do that. Never could get them to play dolls. We would build snow forts and have snowball fights when the snow came and they were very gentle to a little squirt who always enjoyed their company. Unfortunately I lost touch with them as I moved on in life. To Joey I remember you always wanted to be a truck driver and I hope that your wish came true. To Corkey's family I send my deepest condolences. Memories.

Marie,
I remember when Phil came on his scooter to visit our Ladies Guild when we were setting up. He was a funny guy. I am very sorry for your loss.
